Relative pronouns: WHO, WHICH, THAT
Hi Year 6 pupils! Today we are going to learn a new thing, so it is very important that you pay huge attention. We are going to learn how to use the pronouns WHO, WHICH and THAT in affirmative or negative sentences.
First of all, write the date in your notebook (Monday, 20th April 2020) and copy this information:

We use these pronouns to add information about nouns.
- We use WHO or THAT for people.
She is the girl who explored the mountains → We give more information about the girl.
Jacques Cousteau was the one that invented the Aqua-Lung → We give more information about Jacques Cousteau.
- We use WHICH or THAT for things.
They climbed the mountain which is the highest in the world → We give more information about the mountain.
The Aqua-Lung is the object that is used for diving → We give more information about the Aqua-Lung.
