STRUCTURE OF A LETTER

Good morning Year 4 pupils! Do you remember the letter we read last week? Today we are going to complete a letter and pay attention to the structure, and on Wednesday we will write our own.

Complete the letter with the words in the box: 

Now, copy this explanation about the structure of letters in your notebook:

1. Address. The place where a person lives.

2. Salutation. A sentence used as a greeting in a letter: Hi, Hello..

3. Introduction. Give thanks for the last letter and ask how is the person.

4. Body. The message you want to write. 
5. Closing.  What do you want to know about that person in the next letter. 
6: Signature. Your name.
