Good morning Year 6 pupils! Today we are going to learn how to express wishes or desires, that is, something you want to happen. 

First of all, copy the explanation in your notebook:

I WISH...

• We use wish to describe a situation we want to be different.

• We use the structure: 

SUBJECT + WISH + SUBJECT + PAST SIMPLE 

• For example: 

I wish I had a pet.

I wish I could fly.

I wish she wasn´t afraid of mice.
